“Why is AI a metal woman?”
Why are all voice devices female? Is it necessary for technology to have a gender? Does gender-specific technology affect our perception of women and gender equality?
Is that gender field in forms really neccessary?
And why are so many pictures of “AI” femlooking white robots heads?
This keynote will address the boiling hot topic of #GenderFreeTech and how to ensure that technology is inclusive of us all.
I gladly tell you more about this as a speaker at your event, help with doing a quick scan in your organisation, or as an advisor to your team.
A term often used is “Gender Neutral”. I don’t know about you, but somehow this gives the one size fits no-one feeling and feels boxed-in.
I learned the term “gender free” from a non-binary person. Gender free means freedom on the entire gender spectrum. Freedom. I like that!
